I went to Texas to shoot the Pentax 17 against my Nikon F3 and find out once and for all if half frame holds up. What followed was four days of mystery soft focus, a fully ruined roll of Ektachrome E100 slide film, and a hard lesson about reading the manual before leaving the house. The Nikon FA seems to be a sleeper camera in the film community ... At least for now! With this being the first camera to have matrix...
